New Patients

Maybe you’ve heard about chiropractic care through a friend or did some research online. Maybe you’re just tired of living in pain. If going to the chiropractor is a new experience for you, don’t worry! We’re here to help you shed your pain and get back on your feet. Your first visit to our practice will be about getting to know your chiropractor, and a chance for us to get to know you!

At Buller Chiropractic, your examination is geared toward detection and correction of the "Vertebral Subluxation" (click on this link for more information on subluxations). The procedures used are therefore specifically selected for your spine and nervous system health. Here is what you should expect when you have a first visit at this office.

Detailed Consultation

Your first interaction in the office will be with a chiropractic assistant, who will gather the information the doctor needs before meeting with you. Following this, one of the doctors will spend time with you one-on-one to discuss your current symptoms and your health goals.

Spinal Examination

After the consultation, one of the doctors/chiropractic assistants will conduct a thorough spinal exam. With this exam the doctor can determine areas of your spine that may be subluxated. This exam provides a baseline for future re-checks to accurately measure your progress and see how your body is healing.

Spinal X-rays

If necessary, X-rays may be done depending on your condition. X-rays are an important part of the examination process when looking for subluxations in your spine, and provide the information necessary for the type of adjustment that will most benefit your spine.

Your exam and x-ray results will be explained to you and covered in detail at your Report of Findings as soon as the next day. The chiropractic assistant will help schedule your Report of Findings at the end of your first visit.
